ON THE REALITY OF FREEDOM
Freedom. How high the price we pay?
Can Freedom still be cost effective in today’s New World Order? Consider the alternatives.
Look about this world we share, both past and present. Look to the history of Peoples and Nations. Look to the current condition of world affairs. Much of the misery you observe is the result of despots and dictators who have run rampant while Mankind’s attempts to provide effective Self-Government have been trampled underfoot of their empire building mania. Their exploits are infamous, their personages are innumerable, their methods are despicable.
From the arrogance of high priests to the unjust decrees of kings and queens, from the mighty conqueror to the holy crusader, from the rule of war lords to the domination of fanatics, from the utopian authoritarian to the economic elitist, from the mindless spiritual proctor to the immoral secret society, from yesterday’s potentate to today’s political strongman, the results remain the same. The desolation and destruction that have been amassed under their rule are incalculable. The countless millions who suffer their domination and die under their order continues to this day.
To prevent such inhumane rule as is handed out by these despots, demagogues and dictators, We the People of the United States of America have instituted, through two hundred years of trial and error, a form of Government incorporating by association a Republic of States, ruled by Democratic Principles, expressed and preserved by a written Constitution, for the essential purpose of protecting and perpetuating the Peoples Rights, Responsibilities and Freedoms to Self-Rule.
In order to defeat and therewith deny any aspiring or potential despot, demagogue, dictator or elite ruling class the office and/or agency from which to usurp Our Self-Rule and to effectuate Our Creator's blessings of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness to all concerned, We the People, as individual Citizens comprising an integrated whole, serve as Our Nations final and absolute repository of power.
Our Authority is inviolate, Our Rule is indomitable, Our Reign is perpetual.
We the People, through judicious respect for Moral, Economic and Social Freedom, Religious Tolerance and adherence to basic Ideals of Democracy, insure and retain Our position as Sovereign. For just as despots, demagogues and dictators will not endure a Free People, the continuing vigilance of a Free People will not endure despots, demagogues or dictators.
